Since 1977, Vasily Ivanovich has been the head of the folk circus studio "Cascade" of the garrison House of Culture of Novovoronezh. Folk circus studio is a laureate of many regional festivals, the 1st and 2nd All-Union shows of amateur art (1985, 1987), a diploma of the 1st amateur circus competition "Circus without Borders" (1995, Dzerzhinsk), the 1st and 2nd amateur circus festivals in Anapa (1996, 1997), the 1st All-Russian festival-contest of circus art (1997, Yaroslavl).
