Veniamin Grigorievich Glebov

Background

Veniamin Glebov was born in 1928.

Education

He graduated from the naval technical school in Kronstadt (1950), the maritime school in Rostov-on-Don (1964), majoring in mechanics.

Career

Naval Officer (1950-1959). The repairman of the equipment in the Voronezh tire factory (1960-1963), the mechanic of passenger and fishing vessels (1963-1969), the compressor engine operator, the master of gas pipelines in Scientific and Production Association "Electronics" (1969-2000).

Achievements

• One of the initiators of the graves' excavation of political repressions’ victims in Dubovka near Voronezh (since 1989). Since 1985, he has been filing card indices of political repression’s victims (17,000 family names).
  
  Regularly published in the newspaper "Voronezh Courier", gives speeches at the regional readings in the Voronezh Regional Universal Scientific Library named after I.S. Nikitin.
