Representative New Zealand at international conference art education experts, Paris, 1950. Member of advisory panel New Zealand Pavillion, Expo' 70, Osaka, Japan, 1969.

County member New Zealand Academy Fine Arts, since 1971. Appointed to advisory panel Q.E.II Arts Council, 1973. Delegate International Conference World Crafts Council, Kyoto, Japan, 1978.
