Early career
Muñoz spent nine years with Real Madrid"s academy, spending time with Real Madrid C. At eighteen years old, Muñoz rejected a three-year contract from the club in order to focus on his education. He spent time with Celta de Vigo, before finalising his plans. Muñoz moved to the United States and spent 2010 playing college soccer at Iona College, before transferring to University of California, Los Angeles in 2011.
In 2012, Muñoz played with USL PDL club OC Blues Strikers Football Club. Sporting Kansas City
On January 16, 2014 Muñoz was selected in the second round of the 2014 Master of Library Science SuperDraft by District of Columbia United.
However, he wasn"t signed by the club On April 1, 2014 Muñoz"s rights were traded to Sporting Kansas City.
Muñoz made his professional debut on June 18, 2014 in a United States Open Cup fixture against Minnesota United. Arizona United
Muñoz signed with USL club Arizona United on March 3, 2015.
