From 1958 Director of the Plant. First Vice-chairman, Chair, of Moscow City Council of National Economy, Deputy Minister of Automobile Industry of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics 1963-1965.
Deputy Minister of Automobile Industry of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics 1966-1974. Director-General of Volga Association for Production of Cars.
Minister of Automobile Industry of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics 1975-1986.
Deputy to Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Supreme Soviet (9th, 10th convocations). Hero of Socialist Labour.
