Victor Glebov was born into a peasant family.
Since 1928 aimed at the Red Army. He graduated from the infantry courses (1930), the Military Academy named after Frunze (1941), the General Staff Academy (1948).
The commander of the 27th Guards Rifle Division (the 8th Guards Army, the 1st Belorussian Front) Glebov distinguished himself with the skillful leadership of the division in the breakthrough of the enemy's defense on the Kystrinsky bridgehead and in the Berlin Strategic Offensive Operation (April-May 1945). After the Great Patriotic War, he was on command posts in the Armed Forces. Since 1959 he was reserved. Lived and worked in Voronezh.
