Career
She played the role of Sharon Lambert on Independent Television soap opera Emmerdale. She has previously appeared in British Broadcasting Corporation"s Byker Grove and Independent Television"s Steel River Blues. When not performing, Hawkins has worked for the Newcastle-based bank Northern Rock and Newcastle Nightclub "Blu-Bambu".
Hawkins, from Birtley, County Durham, also worked on her local radio station, Century Radio in Newcastle/Gateshead, as Husky Hawkins reading the travel, although this only lasted from 2002 -2004.
