BORISHCHENKO, Viktor was born in 1914 in Kharkov, Ukrainia.
Studied at Evening Institute of Railroad Engineering and at Music Studio, Railroad Workers’ Palace of Culture.
1933-1935 soloist, Kharkov Theater of Opera and Ballet. Best roles: Bogun in Dankevich’s “Bogdan Khmelnitsky”. Petro and Andriy in Lysenko’s “Natalka Poltavka” and “Taras Bulba”.
Gvidon in Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Skazka о tsare Saltane” (The Tale of Tsar Saltan). Faust in Gounod’s “Faust”. Yenik in Smetana’s “The Bartered Bride”.
