Career
1908 began lit work; after 1917 October Revol lit director, Rybinsk, then Yaroslavl’ theaters. Contributed theater reviews to Moscow periodicals: Teatral’naya gazeta, Vestnik rabotnikov iskusstv, Rabis, Rabochiy i iskusstvo, Teatral’naya dekada, Dekada moskovskikh zrelislich and Teatral’naya Moskva. From 1931 contributed to newspapers Swetskoye Iskusstvo and Literalura i iskusstvo.
From 1953 ed, then head Circus and Variety Department, and ed mang, newspaper Sovetskaya kul’tura.
