Worked as a livestock expert. From 1954 worked for newspaper Sovetken Chukotka, later for Magadan publ house. 1954 first work published.
In his verses depicted work and daily life of reindeer breeders and hunters and landscape of Chukotka. Wrote lyric love poetry, satires, journalistic verse and verse about and for children.
