Exiled to Samara for political activity. From 1898 ed, popular sci and lit magazine “Zhurnal dlya vsekh”, which was closed in 1906 for publishing articles about the revol movement. 1910 asked by Gorky to edit anthologies for the “Znaniye” (Knowledge) Publ House.
1912-1913 head, Literature Department, journal “Zavety”. 1914-1917 published the magazine “Yezhemesyachnyy zhurnal literatury, nauki i obshchestvennoy zhizni”. 1917 contributed to SocialistRevol newspaper “Volya norada”.
After 1917 October Revol worked for the Centr Cooperative Publ House and edited the journal “Artel’noye delo”.
