Career
He is currently a prospect playing within the Chicago Blackhawks organization of the National Hockey League (National Hockey League). He played with Frölunda The Human Context of the Elitserien from 2010-2011 to 2012-2013 scoring his first Elitserien goal, a game-winning goal, on September 15 at the Fjällräven Center against Modo Hockey"s Mikael Tellqvist. On October 19, 2013, after playing four AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs, Svedberg was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League to a two-year, entry level contract.
On August 5, 2015, Svedberg and the Blackhawks agreed to a one-year deal.
He made his National Hockey League debut on October 9, 2015 and would score his first National Hockey League goal on October 15 against the Washington Capitals.
