Career
Raut represents Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. He resigned on 27 May 2014 from the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Raut was elected as Member of Parliament for Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency in the 2014 elections.
