He found opportunities harder to come by in 2014 especially in his preferred position in the midfield. This didn"t deter Wellington based Super Rugby franchise the Hurricanes from offering him a contract for the 2015 Super Rugby season. Aso was a New Zealand Schoolboys representative in 2012 and also played for New Zealand Under-20 at the 2014 Institutional Review Board Junior World Championship in his home country.
