Career
He moved to Nevis in 1985 to begin an offshore financial services company and eventually became president of the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society (NHCS) for six years. Hubbard wrote two books, one on Nevis history called Swords, Ships, and Sugar (1991), and a book on Saint Kitts history called A History of Saint Kitts (2002).
