Career
He is known for introducing the term Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation, which replaced the grading system in the Board examinations. Vineet Joshi pursued undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from, IIT Kanpur and postgraduate degree in Master of Business Administration from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and joined Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as the Private Secretary in the year 1999. From 2000-2001 he served as the private secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.
Late in the year 2010 he was appointed as the chairperson of Central Board of Secondary Education.
