Career
He has previously served as head coach of several clubs namely Foolad, Persepolis and Pegah Gilan of Iran, and First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Wasl of the United Arab Emirates. He was also manager of the Iran national under-23 football team for a short period in 2007. From December 2012 to March 2013, he was also assistant coach at Persepolis and also head coach of Persepolis B for three months.
