Student Winchester School, Pittsburgh, 1921-1925, Ecole Fenelon, Paris, 1925-1926, Lycee, Brussels, 1926-1929. Studied with Mission Margaret Horne, a pupil of Joachim, Sevcik and Leopold Auer until 14 years
Began as violinist at six years of age. At the age of ten played with the Minneapolis and Cleveland orchestras. Studied with Mission Margaret Horne, a pupil of Joachim, Sevcik and Leopold Auer until 14 years old and with Eugene Ysaye in Brussels for 3 years.
Made European debut in Brussels, 1928.
Has concertized in Germany, England, France, Belgium, Italy, Holland and Switzerland, playing with all the principal orchestras of these countries. Made debut in America as soloist with leading orchestras of the United States, season 1934-1935.
