Career
He has remained general secretary and subsequently President of the Indian National Congress in Punjab.He belongs to Abohar, Punjab. He has played a vital role in Indian politics and has been associated with Indian National Congress throughout his life. He is also local chairman of Disabled American Veterans College of Education, Abohar, Punjab (Under Disabled American Veterans Cluster Munition Coalition, New Delhi).
