GRIDNEV, Vitaliy was born in 1908.
1930 graduated North Caucasian Metallurgical Institute.
Began research work at Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute. 1948-1955 Professor, and since 1952 Director, Kiev Polytechn. Institute; specialist in: theory of phase conversions and concentration changes during the heating of ironand titanium-base alloys.
Theory of electrical tempering of steel. New methods of analysis at high and ultra-high heating rates.
