Productions include: Vampilov’s plays: Last Summer in Chulimsk, and The Duck Hunt; Money for Mary (based on a work by V. Rasputin), The Shore (based on Yuriy Bondarev’s novel), Challenge (by G. Markov and East. Shim), Uncle Vanya.Director 1970-1985; Director of Maly Theatre, Moscow since 1985. Teaches concurrently at Russian University of Theatre Arts, Professor since 1978. Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People"s Artist 1985.
