Vladimir Aleksandrovich Antonov-Ovseenko

Vladimir Antonov-Ovseenko (real name Ovseenko) was a politician and statesman. One of the organizers of the struggle against the Antonov uprising and a participant in the Civil War.
Education
He graduated from the Voronezh Mikhailovsky Cadet Corps in 1901, and Vladimir Infantry School in Saint Petersburg in 1904.
Career
Member of the revolutionary movement since 1901. In 1906, he was sentenced to death, which was replaced by hard labor, emigrated to France. He returned to Russia in 1917. One of the leaders of the storming of the Winter Palace and the arrest of the Provisional Government. A participant in the Civil War, at that time he visited the Voronezh province more than once. Chairman of the Tambov Provincial Executive Committee (1919-1920). One of the organizers of the struggle against the Antonov uprising. Head of Political Administration of the Revolutionary Military Council (1923-1924). Plenipotentiary representative of the USSR in Czechoslovakia.
