Took part in World War II as commander of the 41st Guards division of the Red Army. Taken prisoner by the Germmans. Joined the ROA as Deputy Chief-of-staff.
During fighting between the ROA and the SS in Prague, fell into the hands of Czech communists partisans and was executed.
