DALSKY, Vladimir was born in 1910 in Nikopol, now Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.
1930-1932 studied at Lysenko Music and Drama Theater, Kiev.
1935-1938 at Kharkov Theater of Young Playgoers. 1938-1941 at Ukrainia Shevchenko Drama Theater, Kharkov. 1941-1957 at Russia Drama Theater of the Soviet Army, Kiev, Odessa and Lvov.
Best roles: Shelmenko in Kvitki-Osnovyanenko’s “Shelmenko-denshchik” (Shelmenko the Batman). Ivan in Kropivnitsky’s “Day sertsyu volyu, zavede v nevolyu” (Give a Man a Rope and He’ll Hang Himself). Pronashka in Mikitenko’s “Divchata nashoi krainy” (The Girls of Our Parts).
Pallada and Morzh in Korneychuk’s “Zagibel eskadry” (Death of a Squadron) and “Chomu posmikhalysya zori” (Why the Stars Smiled). Arkasha in Ostrovsky’s “Les” (The Forest).
