Career
From 1956 head, Chair of General Biology and Parasitology, Leningrad Military Medical Academy. Specialized in medical helminthology, protozoology and general biology. Did major research on the propagation of helminthiasis.
Determined the potential hosts of broad tapeworm and pork tapeworm. Also made important study of protozoal intestinal infestations. Conducted mass examinations in various regions of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics, North of Korea and Kwantung Leased Territory to determine the incidence of protozoal intestinal infections.

Together with Yc.N. Pavlovskiy achieved medically-important breakthrough in the study of parasitocenoses in the host organism.
Did research on the cultivation of Balantidium coli and Trichomonas hominis. Analysed the intraspecific and interspecific relations among animals artificially infested with pleurocercoids of the broad tapeworm. Also devised experiments to determine factors of the evolutionary formation of host organisms and parasites.
Wrote over 55 works.
