1912 graduate Natural Sciences Department, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Khar’kov University.
1913 secondary-school teacher in Khar’kov. 1913 — 19 worked at Moscow Experimental Biology Laboratory and taught at various high-schools. 1919—November 1930 founder-director, Moscow Biology Teachers’ Training Station, where he also established an experimental laboratory for research on zoolog)' and genetics.
From 1919 also taught at various higher educational establishments, including Kalinin Teachers’ Training Institute. 1921-1948 lecturer, Pedagogical Faculty (now Lenin State Teachers’ Training Institute), 2nd Moscow University. Also taught at Moscow Oblast Teachers’ Training Institute.
In the course of research on zoology and genetics studied the secondary sexual characteristics of animals and fish and the effect of external influences (especially x-rays) on fertility. Wrote numerous works, including textbooks on biology teaching methods.
Religious books are outdated, because laws by nature have to change with the advance of societies and technology.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
