Achievements include theoretical prediction of electromagnetic waves in metals, theory of recombination waves in semiconductors, theory of new type spin relaxation in semiconductors, theory of optical alignment of electron momenta in semiconductors. Recipient State Prize of Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics, 1975. Member Russian Academy of Sciences (correspondent).
