Vladimir Nazarovich Petrikhin was born on December 23, 1957 in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region, Russia.
He studied at the Buturlinovsky Art-Graphic Pedagogical School (1973-1977), at the Art Department of Wood Sculpture, Moscow Institute of Technology (1980-1985), where he was learning from H.B. Gevorkyan, E.V. Nikolaev. Participated in regional, zonal, All-Russian, all-Union, international, foreign exhibitions since 1983.
Since 1986, he has been a teacher at the Voronezh Children's Art School and the Voronezh Art School (painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, composition). Works mainly in the field of animal sculpture, also in genre of poster and with applied decorative arts. Represented at the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy.
