Order of Red Banner of Labor; Stalin Prizes, 1948, 1951. Member, Communist Party, since 1942.
SEROV, Vladimir was born in 1910 in village Emmaus, now Kalinin Oblast.
1931 graduated All-Russia Academy, of Artists. 1934 doctorate there.
Taught at I. Brodsky’s studio. During World War П Head, Leningrad Union of Artists. 1959-1960 directed all preliminary organizational measures as Chairman, Organization Committee, Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic Union of Artists.
