Vladimir SUKHAREV, USSR Dermatologist. SUKHAREV, Vladimir was born in 1891.


1915 graduated Medical Faculty, Moscow University.


Upon establishment of Soviet rule began to organize health resorts and clinical and polyclinic services in Odessa, Pyatigorsk and SochiMatsesta. 1931 organized Radiological Laboratory at All-Union Stockraising Research Institute and at Poultry Industry Institute to study means of raising productivity of birds and animals by the use of radioactive irradiation. Member, Learned Council, Central Institute for Skin and Venereal Diseases, Moscow.

Member, Commission on Dermatology, Learned Council, USSR Ministry of Health. Member, Commission of Experts, Higher Certifying Committee, USSR Minister of Higher Education. Member, Editor Council, “Vestnik dermatologii i venerologii” (Herald of Dermatology and Venerology).

Works deal with physiological histology, bioradiology, physiotherapy and balneology for the treatment of skin diseases, etc. 1915-1920 doctor in Russia Army. 1920-1921 intern at Gavche Institute for Venereal and Skin Diseases, Odessa.

1922-1925 Assistant, Moscow Institute of Physiotherapy. 1925-1940 Assistant, Skin and Venereal Diseases Clinic, Medical Faculty, 1st Moscow University. 1940-1944 Director and Science Director, Sochi Balneological Institute, and Head of its Dermatological Clinic.
