Since 1917 journalist. Writes sketches, feuilletons and reviews, mainly stage notices. During and after World War II worked for Ukrainia radio station while it was located in Saratov and as corresponding for “Pravda”.

Head, Ukrainia Main Repertory Commissariat, and then Head, Ukrainia Section, “Literaturnaya gazeta” (Literary Gazetta). Also writes science fiction.
