He studied at the Vologda Free Art Studios (1918-1921), the Vologda Art College (1921-1922), the Leningrad Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops, and the private workshop of M.V. Dobuzhinsky (1922-1923), while working as an assistant to the artist-decorator in A.Ya. Golovin.
He was working as an assistant to the artist-decorator in A.Ya. Golovin. In 1921-1957 in theaters of Vladivostok, Vologda, Voronezh, Makhachkala, Omsk, Tula, Yaroslavl and other cities. Voskresensky designed 170 performances.
Since 1937 he lived in Voronezh, where he designed theatrical performances, participated in city, regional, zonal, republican, foreign (Bratislava, 1944) exhibitions.
The author of paintings of historical genre, portraits, landscapes, still lifes: "Portrait of O.D. (1938), "The construction of the fleet in Voronezh under Peter I" (1939), "The Storm of the Reichstag" (1946), "Sheremetev before the court of Khan Girey" (1953), "Chaliapin among composers at Stasov" (1958) and others, and also many etudes executed in the Crimea, in the Caucasus.
Personal exhibitions took place in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists (1951, 1953, 1969), Voronezh Regional Museum of Fine Arts (1961).
