YORISH, Vladimir was born on February 25, 1899 in Yekaterinoslav.
Studied music at Yekaterinoslav Music College and Music Technicum.
1920 began working as a conductor. Musical director and conductor. Drama and opera theaters in Dnepropetrovsk, Khar’kov and other Ukraine towns.
1934-1943 conductor, from 1943 chief conductor, Shevchenko Theater of Opera and Ballet. Wrote new arrangements of and added scenes to the operas Zaporozhets za Dunayem (A Dnieper Cossack Beyond the Danube) and “Natalka-Poltavka".
