Vladimir Mitrofanovich Sysoev was born on August 18, 1959, in the village of Vysokoye of Liskinsky district of the Voronezh region, Russian Federation.
Vladimir Mitrofanovich graduated from the Architectural Department of the Land Management Faculty of Voronezh Agricultural Institute (now Voronezh State Agricultural University) in 1982 and later, in 1993, from Moscow Academy of Restoration.
Vladimir Mitrofanovich worked at the Institute "Ulyanovsk Agricultural Project" between 1982 and 1987, the Srednevolzhsky branch of the Institute "Special Project Restauration" in 1987-2000. He was head of the Department of Restoration and Design of the Main Department of Architecture and Urban Development of Voronezh region Administration (2000-2001). Vladimir Mitrofanovich also was the chief architect of the Vlaius design workshop (since 2003).
At the same time, he has been cooperating with architectural firms as a sole proprietor since 2001. Since 2001, Vladimir Mitrofanovich has been an associate professor of the Department of Theory of Architecture and Composition of Voronezh State University of Architecture and Construction.
