Vladimir Pavlovich Shuvaev studied at the Voronezh State Medical Institute (now Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko) in 1964-1965, at the journalism department of the philological faculty of Voronezh State University.
Since 1965, Vladimir Pavlovich worked at the television studio of the Voronezh Regional Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting, where he went from a lighting designer to a chief director. Laureate of many All-Union and Republican television competitions.
Vladimir Pavlovich began his literary work in 1966. Published in the magazine "Znamya", "New World", "Literary Studies", "Moscow", "Rise". Author of books: "The Last Faith" (Voronezh, 1996), "The 20th century in poems..." (Voronezh, 2005). He lived in Moscow since 2004.
