Career
Vladimir Vladimirovich Sokolov was a dancer of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Voronezh Military District (1949-1953), soloist of the Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir named after K. I. Massalitinov (1955-1957), choreographer of the club of Voronezh students (1961-1965), Inter-Union House of amateur performances (1965-1967). In 1967-1971 he worked in the House of Culture of Trade Unions (the city of Lipetsk).
In 1971-2002, artistic director, choreographer of many Voronezh ensembles (House of Culture named after the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, garrison House of Officers and others). The initiator of the holidays "Protect the beauty of Russian dance" (since 1998). Head of the Voronezh public organization "Terpsichore" (since 2000), uniting the choreographers of local amateur groups.
