Career
After graduating, Vladislav Putilin served in various positions in the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN). He was a test engineer at the Baikonur cosmodrome, and later a political worker. He headed the political department of the missile division and the missile army. For some time Putilin worked in the department of administrative bodies of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the office of the USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev.
