In 1908 he finished eighth in the team free rifle competition and 17th in the 300 metre free rifle event. Four years later he finished fifth in the team free rifle competition and 13th in the 300 metre free rifle, three positions event.

His last Olympic appearance was in 1924 when he finished fifth with the Finnish team in the team free rifle event and 18th in the 50 metre rifle, prone competition.

• In 1920 he won the bronze medal as member of the Finnish team in the team 300 metre military rifle, prone competition.
