He played college football at Clemson University. Jamison lettered in football and basketball at Roberts high school in Holly Hill, South Carolina. As a senior he recorded 52 tackles and 4 sacks.
As a sophomore he was converted to an offensive tackle in the middle of the season.
As a junior defensive end he had 27 tackles, 2 sacks and 10 quarterback pressures. In his final year, he was already playing with a cast for a broken arm he suffered in preseason, when he had a torn Achilles tendon against Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University.
After not being granted a hardship sixth year from the National Collegiate Athletic Association, he declared for the NFL Draft. He finished his Clemson career with 32 tackles and 3 sacks.

Jamison was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Saint Louis Rams, after not being selected in the 2005 NFL Draft because of his injury history.
He was cut on August 30 prior to the start of the regular season. Dallas Cowboys
On November 2, 2005, he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys to their practice squad, where he stayed until being promoted to the active roster at the end of the season (December 31), following an injury to linebacker Kevin Burnett. He was cut by the Cowboys on August 2, 2006.

In 2007, he played one game for the New York Dragons in the Arena Football League, recording one tackle.
