The Russian radiobiologist and military doctor Vsevolod Antipov was a member of the Great Patriotic War and one of the founders of space radiobiology. He was the authors of the discovery "The phenomenon of mitosis in plant cells under conditions of weightlessness " and the initiator of the creation of the Museum of Space Biology and Medicine in the Voronezh State Medical Academy and author of more than 250 scientific works, including 10 books.
Education
He graduated from the medical faculty of the Voronezh State Medical Institute in 1951.
Career
He was scientific employee of the radiobiological department of the Central Scientific Research Institute of Military Medicine since 1957 and the deputy chief and the chief of the radiobiological department of the military research institute. Head of the Department of Magnetobiology since 1985 and senior researcher of the Radiation Safety Department of the Institute of Biomedical Problems.
