IZMAILSKY, Vsevolod was born in 1885.
1917-1936 Science Director, Institute of Aniline Dye Industry Trust. 1920-1930 simultaneously Professor, 2nd Moscow University. 1925-1941 Professor, Liebknecht Institute, Moscow.
1941-1943 Professor, Tomsk University. Since 1944 Professor, Potemkin Moscow City Pedagogical Institute. Developed methods of producing dyestuff intermediate products such as benzidine, tolidine, etc.
1925 organized production of benzidine by a new method. 1913-1919 developed theory of connection between color and shifts in fine electronic structure of dyes. Devised new classification of chromophore groups and systems on the basis of their electronic structure, etc.
