From 1915 in film work. Worked for many pre-revol Russian film companies and for private film companies in Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics up to nationalization of film industry: 1917-1918 with “Russian Golden Series” film company. 1917-1918 with “Biofil’m” company.
1917 — 19 with “Doctorate. Kharitonov” company. 1918-1919 with Taldykina’s “Screen” Company, et cetera 1920 emigrated and worked for American film studio.
Mid-1920's returned tu Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics and worked as film director for Northwestern Film Studios. In his latter years played film roles. Screened many classical lit works and modem lit and dramatic works.
