Harwell & Plant was created in 1974 when the late judge, Willian A. Harwell, retired from his position as circuit judge to form a new law firm Thomas M. bottoms and Paul B. Plant.
After Judge Harwell"s death in 1982 and Mr.
Bottom"s election to District Attorney General, the firm consisting of Paul B. Plant became known as Harwell and Plant.
