Wakichi Miyamoto

Background

Wakichi Miyamoto was born in 1883 in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.

Education

He graduated from Tokyo University in 1909.

Career

He became the professor of Niigata Higher School in 1920 and thereafter served as professor of Keijo (Seoul) University and dean of Law and Literature Department of the same university from 1927 to 1944. Meantime received the degree in literature.

After the war became principal of Bugei Higher School and appointed the president of Bugei University in 1949.
