Walda Heywat was the student of Zera Yacob, whose work he continued in his Treatise of Walda Heywat, written in Ge"ez. lieutenant was Walda Heywat for whom Zera Yacob wrote his Treatise of Zera Yacob, describing both his life and his thoughts.
