Career
He is of Afghan descent. At age 21, Wali Razaqi and produced his first feature film In the Wrong Hands (2002). The action comedy screened theatrically in ten cities across the United States and Canada.
His next feature film, September Tapes (2004) premiered and sold at the Sundance Film Festival, receiving critical response.
After having his films screened in over 30 festivals worldwide – including Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival – Razaqi went on to produce the feature films Crushed (2009) & Your Name Here (2008), a biopic which premiered at the 10th Annual CineVegas Film Festival and stars Bill Pullman and Traci Lords. He recently finished filming in Saint St. Petersburg, Russia and Nevada for Mario Van Peebles" action thriller Kerosene Cowboys, starring alongside Cam Gigandet, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Shane West.
He is also the creator and producer of "The Michael Vick Project," an eight-part docu-series television show due to air on Black Entertainment Television in early 2010.
