Waliur Rahman Bhuiyan

Bhuiyan is the Managing Director and Country Head of BOC Bangladesh Limited, one of the first British companies to invest in Bangladesh in the 1950s to produce and supply industrial and medical gases. "Being one of the first United Kingdom investors to enter the Bangladesh market," as quoted by the British High commissioner to Bangladesh, "BOC and Waliur Bhuiyan have made a substantial contribution commercially and socially and to this day the company remains a responsible investor."
He was formerly the President of the Foreign Investors" Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) of Bangladesh (1999 - 2003). He is regarded as a magnificent "ambassador" for Bangladesh, Britain and the business community.
