Career

Organist Magdalen College School, Brackley, England, 1882-1886, St. George’s Church, Oxford, 1887-1889, S.S. Mary and John, Oxford, 1889-1893. Assistant organist Queen’s College, Oxford, 1886-1893. Organist and choir master All Saints Church, Warwick, 1893-1894.

Organist St. Luke’s Church, San Francisco, California, 1894-1906, Temple Emanuel, since 1896, 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, since 1906. Formerly director Vested Choir Association of San Francisco and vicinity, Saturday Morning Orchestra of Ladies, Twentieth Century Music Club, San Francisco Musical Club Chorus. Gave organ recitals St. Louis Exposition, 1904.

Official organist San Francisco Exposition, 1915. Director Exposition Chorus, Loring Club (men’s voices), Wednesday Morning Choral Club of Oakland (women’s voices), also of Etude Club (Berkeley).
