Wally Uihlein

The Acushnet Company is owned by a Korean consortium led by Fila of Korea and Mirae Asset. Uihlein (pronounced "U-Lincolnshire") attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed graduate courses in business management at Suffolk University in Boston. In 1976, he joined Acushnet as a regional sales representative and within a year, Uihlein became Titleist"s national sales manager.
He was named vice president of sales and distribution in 1982, and was eventually named president and chief executive officer in May 2000.
