Career
Streuli stood 6 feet 2 inches (188 m) tall, weighed 195 pounds (88 kg), and threw and batted right-handed. He is an alumnus of Southwestern College (now Rhodes College) in Memphis. Streuli"s professional career lasted for six seasons, from 1953 through 1957 with a brief return to the game in 1961.
He handled one chance in the field without an error and drew a base on balls against future Hall of Famer Early Wynn.
He had two more "cups of coffee" with Detroit, playing two games in September 1955 and three more in April 1956 before he was sent back to minor league baseball at the May cutdown. In his six MLB games, Streuli batted 12 times and collected three hits, two of which were doubles.
